Tour Description

Nungwi is a village to the north coast of Zanzibar a home of famous dhow building in Zanzibar which is the cultural attraction of Zanzibar, since centuries the locals are building these woods curved boats with simply local tools.You will visit one of the local houses and see how people are living, further more you will visit the local fishermen and fish market.

At Nungwi you will also visit the Sea turtle Project initiated by Eco & Culture as one of our ecological project. Sea turtles are endangered species world-wide, especial in Zanzibar sea turtles are widely extinct; this protection project raises sea turtles in a natural lagoon, in this aquarium sea turtles are bred. After tour you will have some time to relax at the beautiful beach in nungwi.
